It's hard to believe it's been 10 years since the tragic death of Aaliyah. On August 25, will mark the 10th anniversary of the plane accident that took the life of shining R&B star, Aaliyah Dana Haughton, and BET will honor her legacy on this day with a special one-hour tribute.
“Aaliyah: One In A Million,” which airs at 8 p.m. The special will take a look her music, family and friends.
In a statement, BETs Stephen Hill says “With Aaliyah: One In A Million, we celebrate her life, her music and what she meant to so many. Aaliyah was a beautiful angel and we’re so glad that we were able to assemble her friends and loved ones for this unique show.” Source
